41. Modulated Stripminer II - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Since there's no negative effect associated with these T2 items (like fitting requirements or cap usage) there's absolutely no logical reason NOT to use them...assuming you meet the skill requirements. SH

42. Gist C X-Large or Gist B X-Large Shield booster? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Quickfit should show you the updated boost amount per cycle with the CPR's loaded. Click on the booster on the right pane in your ship equipment list and look at the detail underneath... The quick answer tho, is A LOT!

43. Mining barges - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Procurer is garbage...I'm not even sure why it exists except to maybe make noobs feel dumb when they realize they can outmine it in an osprey. Start with a retriever and work up to a covvy if you're serious about mining.

44. Can someone explain an Alpha Strike vs. DPS in EVE to me? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Let me give you some sample numbers to demonstrate. Let's say for simplicity that you have 1 gun slot. Your options are: Gun 1 - 10 damage per shot, 1 shot every 1 seconds. Gun 2 - 100 damage per sot, 1 shot every 10 seconds. Over an infinite am...

45. What guns on a Rifter? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Since they fixed the ammo issue on the 200's, the only thing the 150's have on 200's is tracking (and obviously fitting). If you can track with 200s (and fit em), use em.

46. Do max speed rigs hurt acceleration / agility? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
There's another thread right below this that says mass rigs are the best since 1 - agility rigs are stacking nerfed 2 - acceleration to warp is a function of mass and agility 3 - mass rigs are 15% and agility rigs are 10% I can't speak to the ...

48. T2 Medium scout drones - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Don't buy the Gallente drone hype. They have the highest damage multiplier of all the drones BUT they only do thermal. Some rats are weaker to other damage types which will make up for the lower damage multipliers. As was stated by someone else, ...

51. Advise on ships - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Cyclone is a waste of space. Hurricane is like a rupture but better. Typhoon is the most versatile BS in the game but one of the most skill intensive. Tempest is like a rupture except bigger. Maelstrom is...expensive. And for reference, the ruptu...

52. T2 Medium scout drones - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Each drone does a different damage type. Figure out what damage type the guys you'll be fighting are weak against and use those. I believe you can use 5 meds and 5 lights in a vexor. For L2 missions, I don't think you'll even need the meds but yo...

53. Torn - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
I like minmatar ships better for most of the smaller ships (T1 + T2 frigs, destroyer, 'dictor) and HACs. Once you get into recons, command ships, BS's I think it's a tossup (based on play-style). Capships, obviously gallente is the way to go...bot...

55. how long before a miner gets rich ? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
One word of caution that isn't publicized as much as it should be: The tier 1 barge (procurer) is a waste of time and money. You can make more mining in an osprey. Wait for the retriever before getting into a barge. Also, the difference in the am...

56. Salvaging skill - in Science and Industry [original thread]
